Unfortunately, we've known for a long time that Cartoon Network didn't care about anime fans, any more than SciFi Channel cares about science fiction fans. Both of them just want to cater to the lowest common denominator and get the biggest financial return possible. If they can make their own crappy cartoons with bad animation and people will sit there with their eyes glazed over in front of the screen, why bother paying anyone else for animation? I expect to see a time very soon where the only things CN shows are either programs they made themselves or programs they bought cheap and own lock, stock and barrel.

It's no wonder we hardly watch the channel anymore.
