My list WAS becoming managable. But between Yen Plus titles coming out in trade and the new licenses, I’ll never be able to stay caught up! I don’t want to think about SDCC. At least it was just Viz, Yen and Del Rey with the big announcements.

I was really surprised at the number of announcements already. I am looking forward to Rumiko Takahashi’s new title and I was very, very happy to hear Yen Press pick up Yotsuba!, something that could easily go into Yen Plus. I am just really worried about the stuff to come with the summer conventions. My list finally became managable this last year with each publisher pulling back the number of titles published.

You should be glad that they’re actually licensing things you want to read, especially since the overwhelming majority of things that get licensed are utter crap. As series end, there are more to pick up. It’s certainly better than having all of your series end and having nothing to replace it with, isn’t it?
