Thanks. :)
Yeah, but that's what happens with most ongoing titles eventually (unless you've got 50-60 volumes out). It just makes room for other titles in the meantime.
I was actually considering dropping it after the first three, but after just recently reading 4-5 I started to realize just how thought out the plot was and that just sucked me back in. I'll be doing a stand alone review of 6.
That's funny about the printing error. Tsukihime was the only DrMaster title I got at the time, so I wasn't aware it was a printing error. But on Tsukihime, it seemed to just fit.

Great review! This is actually my favorite DrMaster series, I've been reading it for years. It's a hard sell, though, what with the vampires and the video game licensing and whatnot. It's also extremely unfortunate that it's caught up to the Japanese release, because only one volume a year comes out.

I'm continually surprised by how well-developed the story is, though. I went into it expecting to hate it, but every volume sucks me in more and more. Volume 6 was actually the best yet, which was great because I was sort of bummed by the Arcueid date volume after waiting a year for the next installment.

Also, it's possible that they've been re-printed since I got my copies, but I think the raised lines are a printing error on the covers of a lot of the DrMaster books that came out around that time.
