We didn’t have one near us until this morning. A fire started in the Big Bear/Lake Arrowhead area. We live just below those mountains, so we’re safe, thankfully. But I just watched out of my window at work, as the smoke from the fires blew done the 15 and just made the outside get dark again. This is a BAD year for fires.

We’ve got no less than eight wildfires raging in San Diego County right now. Emergency officials have already declared the wildfires worse than the Cedar Fires of 2003…which were the worst the state ever experienced…
