The Picks:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alex\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> The list may be a little slim this week, but Kodansha still knows how to please – Negima! Magister Negi Magi<\/strong> is one of my guilty pleasures, and I\u2019ll definitely be picking up this volume as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

John\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> I agree with Alex on all counts. Things are a little light this week, and although Kodansha USA is not putting out anywhere near the volume of the headquarters in Japan, they choose some very quality titles, like Negima! Magister Negi Magi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Justin\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> Or anti-pick, as it may be. I\u2019m not a big fan of James Patterson, in part because he has a studio of writers churning out material (in that sense he\u2019s more of a brand than a writer), but the Maximum Ride<\/strong> manwha was pretty good. Not so with Daniel X<\/strong>. I find the art run-of-the-mill and the character and his abilities are pure amateur\/wish-fulfillment stuff.<\/p>\n

Amy\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> Oh so much delicious yaoi being released this week! I\u2019d love to snag all of them but I\u2019ve been most looking forward to is I Give To You<\/strong>. I\u2019m pretty much a sucker for story lines dealing with one of the main characters being in debt especially when it\u2019s twice over!<\/p>\n

Lori\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> I\u2019m not a BL reader by any means, but I am totally hooked on Makoto Tateno and her title Angelic Runes<\/strong>. I love Sowil and the child oracles channelling the angels and demons. She makes great use of the angels and demons. I loved volume 1 and can\u2019t wait to read volume 2!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
