Seven Seas has caught up with the Blood Alone<\/em> re-release and is releasing a new volume in the US with this week\u2019s volume 4.<\/p>\n

The Picks:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alex\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> New House of Five Leaves<\/strong> this week! Natsume Ono is one of my favorite authors, so this book is a definite quick pick for me. Also of note, Fullmetal Alchemist<\/em> is getting close to the final volume, and if you haven\u2019t been following this book very closely, you should be. It is fantastic fiction.<\/p>\n

Connie\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> \u00a0The list is a bit small this week, so I\u2019m going to have to agree with Alex and go with House of Five Leaves<\/strong> this week. \u00a0I\u2019m catching up on that series myself this week, and I love the slow and deliberate way the characters are being revealed and built up.<\/p>\n

Amy\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> After the release of the omnibus containing volumes 1-3 I\u2019ve been waiting for the release of Blood Alone volume 4<\/strong>. Also I\u2019ve recently gotten into House of Five Leaves<\/em> but not quite caught up for this week\u2019s release, at least just yet!<\/p>\n

Justin’s pick:<\/strong> I hate to admit it, but Natsume Ono is hit or miss for me, and House of Five Leaves<\/em> is a series I just can’t get into. Blood Alone<\/strong>, on the other hand, is the opposite: on the surface, it’s all kinds of wrong, what with its vampires, kid companion, and other elements I’ve had enough of…But! But it’s got good characters and good art and a fresh take on old tropes.<\/p>\n

Lori\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> I\u2019ve been reading Fullmetal Alchemist<\/strong> since it first started coming out in 2005 and it has never failed to be a fantastic read! With this penultimate volume coming out this week, it really hits home how far it\u2019s come and how close the end really is.
