Two weeks worth of manga can make for a lot of hard choices, especially with such strong titles as Veritcal\u2019s releases. How can you choose between the final Black Jack<\/em> and Princess Knight<\/em> and the second volume of No Longer Huma<\/em>n? Viz has quite the long list with releases from all their lines with new volumes of Bleach<\/em>, One Piece<\/em>, Ouran High School Host Club<\/em>, Maoh: Juvenile Remix<\/em> and I’ll Give It My All…Tomorrow<\/em>, as well as the debut of a new Shojo Beat series, Dawn of the Arcana<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The Picks:<\/strong><\/p>\n

John\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> I can\u2019t go this far and not give the love to Black Jack<\/strong>. This long series has been one of, if not the best long series I have been following.<\/p>\n

Alex\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> We missed a week, and now my wallet is starting to hurt again. New volumes of Bakuman<\/strong> and Blue Exorcist<\/strong> are my digital purchases this time around, and I\u2019ll be picking up the second volume of Princess Knight<\/strong>, as well as the latest volume of 20th Century Boys. Also of note, I\u2019m tentatively interested in Viz Media\u2019s new shojo series, Dawn of The Arcana<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Amy\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> Though there is plenty to choose from Viz Media I\u2019m stoked at Seven Sea\u2019s release of the latest volume of Blood Alone<\/strong>. Out of all titles that have either been rescued or re-released in 2011 this one tops my list. I didn\u2019t think I\u2019d have the chance to pick up this series again so I\u2019m excited that it\u2019s getting a second chance to shine.<\/p>\n

Connie\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> \u00a0I also have to tip my hat towards Black Jack<\/strong>. \u00a0It\u2019s been a fun few years, and I\u2019ll really miss my regular dose of the bizarre that was sure to come with each volume. \u00a0I love the cover on volume 17, too, a wonderful choice for the last volume. \u00a0And for something new, I\u2019m going to have to go with Dawn of the Arcana.<\/strong> \u00a0It\u2019s exactly the type of shoujo fantasy series I love to read.<\/p>\n

Lori\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> These choices would have been so much easier if they\u2019d been split up. Deltora Quest,<\/em> and Ghost in Shell Stand Alone Complex<\/em> from Kodansha and the final Black Jack<\/em> from Veritcal. But it\u2019s that long list from Viz that really hits the pocketbook! House of Five Leaves<\/em>, Natsume\u2019s Book of Friends<\/em> and Bakuman<\/em> are all on my buy list. But I\u2019ll give my pick to Kaori Yuki\u2019s Grand Guignol Orchestra<\/strong> which ends this month. Her endings can be just as wild as the ride that get\u2019s you there!
