I adored the first volume and its bittersweet tale of two children who identify with the other gender, and am looking forward to getting my hands on the second volume. This is a must read for 2012.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Connie\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> \u00a0\u00a0I\u2019m going to have to go with <strong>Wandering Son 2<\/strong> as well. \u00a0The first volume was a very sweet and sensitive look at developing gender identity, and I\u2019ve been waiting months for the followup. \u00a0Having said that, there\u2019s a lot of fun stuff from Viz this week, and it\u2019s always a good day in my house when a new volume of <strong>Skip Beat<\/strong> arrives. \u00a0That series never fails to disappoint with its manic sense of humor and sweet, shoujo-y moments.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Lori\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> Lots of good shojo this week with <em>Kimi ni Todoke<\/em> and <em>Degenki Daisy<\/em>, but I\u2019m giving my pick to a shonen title I\u2019m surprised I\u2019ve come to enjoy; <strong>Psyren<\/strong>. While I\u2019ve felt let down lately by a lot of shonen, <strong>Psyren<\/strong> has been a breath of fresh are with fun, quirky characters and an intriguing mystery to solve.
