The Picks:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alex’s Pick:<\/strong> I think it’s hard to not at least mention 7 Billion Needles<\/em> from Vertical Inc, for its bizarre and interesting subject matter, but I think my pick this week is Dragon Girl Vol. 2<\/strong> from Yen Press. The series is fun and very energetic, and it is a great cure for some of these nasty winter blues.<\/p>\n

Connie’s Pick:<\/strong> I feel like I haven’t been reading anything but BL lately, but with releases like the Kizuna<\/strong> omnibuses, it’s hard to resist the temptation.\u00a0 The first volume of Kizuna<\/em> was wonderful, so this week I’m looking forward to more of the refreshingly adult and established (but still drama-tastic) relationship between Kei and Ranmaru in Kizuna vol. 2<\/em> from DMP\/June.<\/p>\n

Amy’s Pick:<\/strong> I’m going along with Connie this week with Kizuna vol. 2<\/em>. I can’t wait to snag the 2nd volume, what fujoshi doesn’t love a nice thick piece of yaoi? I just can’t help but be swept away by omnibuses in general.<\/p>\n

John’s Pick:<\/strong> We have reached the third quarter of the four-parter 7 Billion Needles<\/em>, and this shy-girl-meets-intergalactic-combatants tale is fresh and well put-together. I am looking forward to seeing how things wrap up in Volume 4.<\/p>\n

Lori’s Pick:<\/strong> I’m going with John this week and taking 7 Billion Needles.<\/em> I don’t read a lot of sci-fi, so when I do, it has to be really good. And that’s just what this title has been.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
