Now this is a new releases list! Lot\u2019s of different publishers are releasing lots of different titles. Bandai debuts it\u2019s new title, Kannagi<\/em>, which has been a big hit in Japan. Will it be in the US as well? And for once, it\u2019s not based on an anime! Dark Horse continues it\u2019s mature title Ghost Talker\u2019s Daydream<\/em>, and DMP has a rare non-yaoi manga with the second volume of Fafner: Dead Aggressor<\/em>. The big news this week though is the debut of Kodansha, which is starting out with the return of several popular Del Rey titles, and Yen Press releases its most anticipated title so far this year, which also sweeps our picks. The Picks:
\nAlex\u2019s Picks:<\/strong> Wow, what a crop of books this week! Kodansha gets into the action and releases the latest volume of Negima<\/strong>, and Yen Press has the first volume of Bride\u2019s Story<\/strong> to pick up. This is a great week for manga geeks!<\/p>\n

Connie\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> For me this week, it can only be Bride\u2019s Story<\/strong> by Kaoru Mori. \u00a0I missed the boat on Emma<\/em>, so I\u2019m really looking forward to this new story from Mori. \u00a0From what I\u2019ve heard so far, it doesn\u2019t disappoint.<\/p>\n

Justin\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> I\u2019m so glad Kodansha is leaping into the market like this, picking up where Del Rey left off (especially Fairy Tail<\/em>!). However, as Connie and Alex note, the killer book this week is Bride\u2019s Story<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Amy\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> Like Connie I didn\u2019t get into Emma<\/em> til it was too late, watched the anime to suffice, so I\u2019m definitely grabbing a copy of Bride\u2019s Story<\/strong>. But my pick this week is the third volume of Tyrant Falls in Love<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Lori\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> Yen Press\u2019 Bride\u2019s Story<\/strong> is just sweeping away the picks this week. While it is most certainly deserved of the praise, I have to give my pick to Kodansha for finally coming to the market with some new releases, and becoming a real manga publisher here in the US. Fairy Tail<\/strong> is the title I\u2019m most excited to see, but Arisa<\/em> has been getting some good reviews, and is moving up on my to watch list.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
