The Picks:

Connie’s Pick:  Nostalgia has me choosing X 3-in-1 volume 1 as my favorite this week.  X was the first CLAMP series I read, and it’s still my favorite.  The story can be a little convoluted at times, but the art is some of my absolute favorite in any manga, and I love the main characters.  Princess Knight volume 1 is another fine choice this week, and I love Tezuka, but Princess Knight is most definitely not my favorite of his work.

Justin’s pick: I know there are doubts about Princess Knight, but I’d be a fool not to check it out. For me, it’s an old-school week, because my only other interest is in RIN-NE. I know it’s not the greatest, but Rumiko Takahashi is like a first love for me: all her work gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling.

John’s Pick: Twin Spica is still going strong. I have really enjoyed the way this space camp epic has evolved into such a big story.

Lori’s Pick: My daughter’s has been waiting with bated breath for the final Mega Man Gigamix volume to come out, so I’m going to make it my pick this week. And I have to admit an interest in Princess Knight. I enjoyed the chapter Viz ran in Shojo Beat years ago, so I would really like to read more.
