Over the past year, I’ve been keeping track of the top ten selling titles according to the New York Times and Amazon.com. While there might be some doubt about how these two companies come up with their numbers, I do see them as being good indicators of what manga is popular and selling. I tracked the titles starting from the Week of January 3 until December 27, 2015, a full 52 weeks.
This week I take a look back at 2013 and some of the trends in manga that were seen over the year; What became popular, who started and who stopped publishing and comment on what I’d like see more of in 2014. I also have regular features the Weekly Wish List, Vizmanga.com update and the New York Times Bestseller List. http://archive.org/download/MangaDomeEpisode39/MangaDomeEpisode39.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | Download
