And I thought last week was gonna be a wallet burner! This week is nearly just as bad! Kodansha hits with a wave of titles, including a couple of new ones. The first Fairy Tail spin-off in English is finally here. Blue Mistral is a shojo that features Wendy Marvell, the 12-year-old wizard from Fairy Tail as she goes on her first solo mission. I’d pick this up just for being from Fairy Tail, but the shojo aspect just makes it all the more attractive. Also new out this week is Inuyashiki, the story of a middle-aged man who gets a new lease on life after being struck by a light from the sky. The premise sounds familiar, but look like it will be anything but. Other big hitters out this week are Attack on Titan Before the Fall, Attack on Titan, and Say I Love You. Kodansha is not pulling any punches!

Also adding to the Attack on Titan love is Vertical Comics with the novel: Attack on Titan The Harsh Mistress of the City Part 1. You can rely on Vertical to have great translations. Attack on Titan Fans will not want to miss this one. Also not to be missed is Ajin: Demi-Human Vol 6. Yen Press has two more light novels, Spice and Wolf Vol 15, their first light novel license and The Devil is A Part-Timer Vol 2, one of the newest.

Viz Media finally releases One-Punch Man in print. The title always sells well digitally, so it should do just as well in print, if not better. Speaking of digital, I’m going to be adding the new Vizmanga digital-only releases to the list. Once I can figure out a reliable source for Yen Press and Kodansha, I will add them as well. Viz has 6 new volumes out this week that includes three new titles. Crazy For You Vol 1, by Karuho Shiina, the creator of Kimi ni Todoke is a rescue from Jmanga, and not a big surprise for Viz to add to their Select line. Hands Off: Don’t Call Us Angels and Tokyo Boys and Girls were Tokyopop titles that now join the Viz Select line with so many of their other brethren.
