There’s a good selection of titles for this week. Kodansha Comics releases Noragami Stray Stories, a collection of short stories set in the Noragami universe. I really like the main Noragami series, so this is a volume I’ll be picking up. Seven Seas has the third volume of their popular shojo Ancient Magus’ Bride. I swear I am going to check this series out at some point. I keep hearing nothing but good things about it. I also want to check out Udon Entertainment’s Stein’s Gate. Being a Doctor Who fan, I’m of course interested in stories about time travel. Volume 2 is out this week.

Viz Media has a small selection of their shonen and shojo titles. Debuting is a vampire shonen-ai/shojo Bloody Mary, but I’m gonna pass on that one. Ultimo returns for its yearly release with Volume 11, while those who just can’t wait for the next Pokemon XY, there is mini volume 5.

Diamond pushed back Yen Press’ releases, but they finally make it to the list this week, and there are a lot of new titles coming out. Dragons Rioting, Honor Student at Magic High School, and School-Live all have Volume 1s out, but the title I, and many other readers have been waiting for is Monthly Girl’s Nozaki-kun. It’s a four panel comic about a high school male mangaka who writes shojo manga and the girl who has a crush on him. It’s actually pretty funny, and there was an anime of it that ran on Crunchyroll earlier this year, that helped build up its name recognition. It is a must have. I think I may have to get Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon Volume 3 as well. I really enjoyed Volume 1, and my just keep following it, depending on if Volume 2 keeps my attention.
