Every week, the New York Times and Amazon posts the top ten bestselling books. The New York Times gets their numbers from print sales from retailers, while Amazon calculates their own numbers. Once a month the Nielsen Bookscan posts their top twenty graphic novels of which manga is included. Offered here is a listing of these books with their status this week compared with the previous week, along with some commentary on the activity.

The monster girls do it again, taking the top spot with their new 4 panel comic series Monster Musume: I Heart Monster Girls Vol 1, knocking One-Punch Man Vol 6 down a notch.  Kodansha gets some of their new titles up with Noragami Vol 14 and Devil Survivor Vol 5 debuting. One-Punch Man and Tokyo Ghoul continue their battle to control the list, leaving My Hero Academia to only get one title to stick, the newest Vol 4.

Yen Press takes over the top spot with the debut of their light novel Overlord Vol 1 while Yotsuba!& Vol 13, the first new volume of the series in nearly a year and a half moves up to #3. Seven Seas takes another spot as orange The Complete Collection Vol 2 preorder joins Monster Musume: I Heart Monster Girls Vol 1. My Hero Academia does better here with three volumes on the list, while Tokyo Ghoul pays the price with only Vol 1 hanging on.
